Era filha do aristocrático e excêntrico
Sir George Sitwell.Publicou seu primeiro poema
The Drowned Suns no Daily Mirror em 1913.
Se vestia de maneira ousada
para sua época.
Excêntrica até o fim,Isabella Blow,1958-2007,
pelas palavras de Anna Wintour,
para quem ela trabalhou:
"She was not good at getting to the office before 11am,
but then she would arrive dressed as a maharaja
or an EDITH SITWELL figure.I don't think
she ever did my expenses but she made life
much more interesting"
